Fresh Tomato Bruschetta Recipe

Fresh Tomato Bruschetta is a versatile dish, can be used as a starter before meals, an evening snack or even a healthy breakfast! Its super easy to make and will definitely be a hit with kids and adults alike 🙂
Fresh Tomato Bruschetta


  • 4 plum tomatoes

  • 3-4 cloves of garlic (finely chopped or crushed)

  • 1/2 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup basil leaves fresh ( or used 1 tablespoon dried basil)

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons balsamic or red vinegar

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (optional)

  • salt and black pepper powder to taste

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 French Baguette sliced (use any other white bread if baguette is not available)

  1. Chop the plum tomatoes into really tiny cubes
  2. Now add the next 8 ingredients to the chopped tomatoes in a big bowl, mix them up nicely and set aside to marinate
  3. Coat the slices of french bread with butter and put on a non-stick girdle on medium flame till golden on both sides
  4. Top with the fresh tomato topping and serve

You can use the tomato topping on sandwiches too! Just make some extra and refrigerate.
